Ralph Stewart
CEO of Lifetime Retirement Trust.
Lifetime is the pre-eminent provider of retirement incomeproducts in New Zealand. Ralph Stewart began the business in 2013, after seeing the need to provide sustainable income in retirement for the growing number of New Zealand superannuitants. The product provides peace of mind for retirees by providing a regular top-up to New Zealand Superannuation Payments – for as long as they live.
Ralph has also been the Chief Executive of both ACC and AXA, the GM Marketing and Strategy for Tower Insurance and Marketing Director at Jardine Fleming. He will be speaking to our Club about "The Trials and Tribulations of Commercial Innovation".
Please ensure your registration includes any special guests you are bringing, or any meal requirements for the Wellington Club's Chefs.

About one in four world plant species are endangered, creating urgency to preserve and find artificial ways to protect them. This was the sobering message from Karin Van Der Walt, Conservation and Science Advisor for the Wellington City Council at Wellington's much loved Otari Botanical Gardens.
David Barnes reports.
What can we do? Karin specified that the team always need volunteers, and money for new scientific equipment, as WCC do not see this as part of their remit.
Please reply to the editors with your ideas and if you would like to be a part of our Club supporting Karin, Otari Bush and their mission
I’m back – without Covid, in spite of 7 of our 44 students having it…and 3 million others in the UK as at last weekend.
There is some comfort in seeing masks being worn here, though not the rain! From the hottest heatwave in the UK ever to the drenched landscape here, the world is certainly providing some compelling messages.
Thank you to all who have kept the Club going in my absence, in the many respective ways. Internet access was intermittent while overseas, so I am catching up now. I look forward to seeing all on Wednesday and hearing about what is happening in person.
Keep warm and dry!
